Alan Morse announces new solo album 'So Many Words'

Spock's Beard co-founder and lead guitarist Alan Morse releases his long-awaited second solo album on January 22nd, 2026.

Spock’s Beard co-founder and lead guitarist Alan Morse has announced his long-awaited second solo album, “So Many Words”, set for release on January 22nd, 2026.

The album features appearances by his brother Neal Morse, legendary drummer Simon Phillips, bass virtuoso Tony Levin, and of course Spock’s Beard. Alan sings lead vocals on most of the songs and plays a lot of the instruments. The album is produced by Alan Morse and Markus Riegler.

“So Many Words” explores the edges of Prog Rock, noise, loud guitars and traditional influences. The album contains 11 tracks with a total playing time of 59:50:
